چکیده

This study aimed to isolate the endophytic fungi of soursop leaves that have potential as anti-yeast. Soursop were collected from 3 locations in West Java, Indonesia. The secondary metabolites produced by extracted with ethyl acetate and tested for anti-yeast activity against Saccharomyces cerevisiae Candida tropicalis. Profile extracts contents characterization was carried out using thin-layer chromatography (TLC). Twelve monoculture isolates Sukabumi (3 isolates), Cianjur Garut (6 isolates). It showed different abilities inhibit C. tropicalis S. cereviseae. best extract is isolat (Sir-C1) (Sir-S1). stain patterns seen between nine similar. indicates compounds them may also be same. Isolation, identification and biodiversity of endophytic fungi o Thymus

Endophytes are considered as an important source of bioactive natural products because thesemicroorganisms are able to occupy unique biological niches and grow in non-ordinaryenvironments. Therefore, endophytic fungi of medicinal plants can be developed for medicinalapplications. On the other hand, medicinal properties of plant can be ascribed to its endophyticfungi. Thymus sp. is widely used a...

Antioxidant activity of secondary metabolites and mycelium extracts of endophytic fungi isolated from Astragalus monadelphus

13 strains of endophytic fungi were isolated from Astragalus monadelphus. The radical scavenging activity assay of secondary metabolites and mycelium extracts from these strains were investigated. Results showed that secondary metabolites and mycelium extracts from these strains had significant antioxidant activities. Reducing ability of H401 strain mycelium extracts were stronger than the ethy...

Novel Secondary Metabolites from Endophytic Marine-derived Fungi

The marine-derived fungus Stachylidium sp. was isolated from the sponge Callyspongia cf. C. flammea. Chemical investigation of the bioactive fungal extract led to the isolation of the novel phthalimidine derivatives marilines A D (1-4). The absolute configuration of the enantiomeric compounds 1 and 2 was assigned by means of theoretical Circular Dichroism calculations. The skeleton of marilines...

Antimicrobial Activity of Secondary Metabolites from Endophytic Fungi Isolated from Nerium Oleander L

Endophytic fungi found inside the plant tissue are endosymbionts, protecting their host from pests, pathogens, etc. Twenty eight endophytic fungi were isolated from different parts of Nerium oleander L., out of which, 54% of isolates were from flower, 39% from stem and 7% from leaf parts. Thirty six percent of the isolates showed antimicrobial activity against tested pathogens. The potential is...
